The pair's catchphrase in swing dancing? We'll enthuse you about dancing the way we do. Samantha and Brian enjoy spreading their love of swing dancing to others at events with a 1920s–1950s theme. Samantha and Brian make you feel as though you've travelled back in time by bringing authentic dancing, attire, and poise to events. These two keep the party going with everything from ambient dancing to create the ideal ambiance, a stage performance to enthral the audience, a group beginner swing dance instruction to get everyone in the mood, to dancing with guests to make their experience special! Samantha and Brian have a focus on the swing eras, which include the following occasions: 1920s: Charleston dancing during Jazz Age, Roaring 20s, and Great Gatsby events
1930s–1940s: Harlem tributes, WWII, and swing/lindy hopping at big bands
1950s: Boogie-Woogie dancing at American Bandstand events, dance marathons, and socks-hops
In addition to swing, this couple is skilled in Latin and Ballroom dance styles, and they can add a sophisticated Waltz, Foxtrot, or Rumba or a sassy Salsa, Cha-Cha, or Tango to your event. They are quite adaptable in their approach and enjoy adding a retro feel to a contemporary event. In order to create your ideal, one-of-a-kind event, Samantha and Brian enjoy fusing their extensive backgrounds in jazz, tap, ballet, and tumbling.
Together, Samantha and Brian have performed, taught, choreographed, and directed in England, France, India, New York City, other parts of the United States, and even on ships! Whether performing alone or in a pair, Samantha and Brian are skilled at both choreographed dancing and free-styling. Samantha and Brian have performed in prestigious venues such as Jazz at Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, Rainbow Room, Jacob's Pillow, 92nd Street Y, The Whitney Museum (Samantha), and The Delacorte Theatre for New York City's Shakespeare in the Park (Brian). They are also the current directors and former featured performers of the Broadway show Swing! for Norwegian Cruise Line.
