Dominic, a 37-year-old native of Quebec, started his present acrobatic career after 14 years of circus performance and seven years of gymnastics. Dominic has developed and polished the art of the human flag, which he raised to a higher level and transformed into an artistic discipline. Dominic was chosen to represent the flag of his own country in the official ceremonies of the city of Quebec's 400th anniversary.
Dominic has now become increasingly in demand, travelling the world to perform this remarkable technique under the moniker "Flag Man." He has played before a huge number of live audiences and on prestigious television programmes as The Ellen Degeneres Show, Le Plus Grand Cabaret du Monde, and La France an un incroyable talent, among others.
Dominic had an appearance on the Guinness World Records show in November 2007 when he broke the record for the longest human flag and held it for an astonishing 39 seconds. The two world records he currently holds.
Several circus festival awards have also been given to him, including the Special Prize from Monte-Carlo in 2009, the Silver from Wuqiao in China in 2009, and the Bronze from Izhevsk in Russia in 2010.
Dominic is a highly sought-after instructor in the physical disciplines of trampoline, circus, physical training, and stretching. He also mentors some of the best and most successful circus artists in the world. Dominic is skilled at acrobatics, both on the ground and in the air. He quit his job to fulfil the increasing demand for his distinctive act.
