They adore folk, jazz, brassy-driven beats, funky bass lines, and making as much noise as they can using bass, keys, trumpet, bari sax, stomp box, drum kit, melodica, and anything else they can find. They keep it peppy and funny while drawing on a variety of genres, like as folk, reggae, and rockabilly. Their enthusiastic performance at the Jack Daniels Music Scout Competition United States 2016 earlier this year earned them a trip to Nashville to record their original tunes. Since then, J & F have played their jazz-infused folk at nearby festivals, and they are currently in the process of producing their debut album, which will be released in February or March 2017.
