Dance is a part of life and a representation of their culture for the seven brothers who make up the flamenco dance group Los VIVANCOS.
The brothers, who were raised by a family of wandering musicians, spent their youth travelling the globe, absorbing and assimilating the various cultures they experienced, and eventually merging them in their flamenco act.
Once a year, they performed a full-length presentation of dance, music, and acrobatics for their family and friends. As they grew older, the demand for their distinctive presentation grew, and they soon found themselves sharing the stage with one another all over the world, including in Spain, France, Canada, England, and the Netherlands.
The brothers spread themselves among a number of prestigious academies for their academic studies in order to broaden their horizons, including the Conservatorio Profesional de Danza Instituto del Teatro in Barcelona, the Real Conservatorio de Danza de Madrid in Madrid, the National London Studio in England, the Q'nticoh Independent School in Canada, the Dutch Ballet Theatre in the Netherlands, The Royal Music Conservatory of Vancouver, and the studios of Amor de Dios.
Near the end of 2006, the brothers got back together and started Los VIVANCOS, a flamenco dance group that is now regarded as the musical and scenic phenomenon of this new decade.
Since then, they've done the following: - Accepted a special invitation from Princess Stefanie of Monaco; and - Appeared at the prestigious Monte Carlo Circus Festival in Italy.
