Ren, who is regarded as one of the best young French accordionists playing jazz, has a distinctive sound and aesthetic. With a strong foundation in classical music and as a winner of the UNAF and ACF competitions in the 1980s, he continued to hone his jazz improvisational talents through his performances in Music Halls or at renowned jazz festivals like the Festival de Jazz de Nice. Ren is renowned for his quality, technique, and professionalism and is equally skilled at performing his Latino jazz repertoire.
Rene has also shared the stage with well-known musicians including violinist Alexandre Cavaliere, Christian Escoude, Angelo Deabarre, Dorado Smith, and Angelo Deabarre. His brilliance is shown not just on stage but also in his recordings, which include both original compositions and pieces from jazz and classical music.
