The Red Hot Chilli Pipers haven't taken a breather since winning the top prize on the UK's highest-rated talent competition show, "When Will I Be Famous," in 2007—except to blow up their bagpipes, of course!
The Chillis, who were founded in 2002, have quickly gained notoriety throughout the world for their brilliant interpretations of well-known songs from various genres and their characteristic "Bagrock" style, which has rocked distant coasts from Beijing to New York and everywhere in between!
The band has already recorded three tremendously successful albums, and their fourth, titled "Music For The Kilted Generation," was just released on REL Records. Blast Live!, a live album and DVD they released previously, In addition to their second album, "Bagrock To The Masses," (REL Records, 2008), which was certified platinum in Scotland and silver in the UK, "" (REL Records, 2009) has already achieved triple platinum status in Scotland.

The Chillis spent a large portion of 2010 honing their incredible performance with tours to Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, most of Europe, India, and Scotland, which included 11 sold-out dates, an 11-week tour of Germany, and a seven-week trek across the USA. These tours helped the band solidify their reputation as one of the most thrilling live acts available.
First-rate musicianship is displayed. All of the pipers and drummers in the band hold degrees in music from the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama (RSAMD), and they have all performed at the highest level in bagpiping. Stuart Cassells, the Chilli's musical director and founder member who won the BBC Radio Scotland Young Traditional Musician of the Year award in 2005 and the first person to receive a degree in bagpipe performance from the RSAMD, is responsible for the Bagrock craze. Steven Graham, a two-time World Champion snare drummer, is also a member of the group.
The Red Hot Chilli Pipers perform a spectacle that will astound any crowd. They truly offer a one-of-a-kind experience!
